Esquire Ad 1970Full color 7 3/4″ x 11″ ad for their Ban-Lon Slip-Not 93 socks with visual proof of how they will not slip down. There is a picture of a boat floating alone in the middle of the ocean occupied with four men in ragged shirts and pants and looking very down. Despite the sorry appearance they present these men are wearing Esquire Socks which have stayed high on their legs, in spite of the tremendous tragedy. The headline say that these are “The socks that stay up. No matter what else goes down” and they come in 22 different colors and are guaranteed to stay up no matter what.
