Full color 9 3/4″ x 13″ ad that is for Durkee’s Oleomargarine. This ad starts off with the heading that “There’s only ONE graded margarine” and, below this, there is a drawing of two ladies talking, the one on the left says “I’ve never tasted margarine as delicious as this” and the other lady replies “That’s the new Durkee’s Grade AA Margarine“. The ad then says that “Thousands of housewives are switching to Durkee’s because they like it…their families like it…it means CASH SAVINGS on their food bills…and because it’s the only Grade AA on the market! Durkee’s Margarine is made from the choicest vegetable oils delicately blended with fat-free milk and other quality farm products. It’s mild, delicate flavor is winning new users everywhere”. Then it has a box with the heading “What Grade AA Means To You” and it lists * Mild delicate flavor * Purity of ingredients * Country freshness * Nourishment – 15,000 units of Vitamin A * Smooth texture for spreading * Triple wrapped for sealed-in flavor. The ad also mentions that it was available in either Yellow or White color.
