Description
Black and white 5″ x 13″ ad for their 5-minute and Regular Cereals. This ad is another of the series that has a cartoon panel of Li’l Abner drawn by Al Capp. The cartoon shows Abner being tied up in a room with a bomb set to explode. Daisy Mae comes rushing into the house with the makin’s for a pot of Cream of Wheat. She uses the lit fuse to prepare the potful and Abner is able to break the ropes and free himself so that he and Daisy can escape before the bomb explodes. This ad is taller than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
