Description
Full color 10″ x 14″ ad for their cans of Pie-Sliced Apples. There is a picture of a branch of an apple tree with several ripe apples and a can of Comstock Pie-Sliced Apples waiting to be picked. The headline claims it is “Grown just for pies! Orchard-Fresh Slices for apple pies lots more luscious-lots less work!”. At the bottom of the ad is a large picture of a plate with an extra large slice of apple pie perched on top of another branch of an apple tree and the headline “Comstock – the makin’ of your bakin’!”. The text claims that “The first juicy forkful tells you”, that they are “peeled, cored, sliced” and baking an apple pie becomes “so easy, so thrifty”.
