Description
Black and white 4 3/4″ x 12″ ad for their Floodlight Lantern. The ad has a picture of an Iowa farmer, Mr Orval Quaas, checking out his tractor at night while his wife holds the Coleman Floodlight Lantern which makes any nighttime repairs possible. Orval is quoted as saying that “You can’t beat a Coleman Lantern for any Outdoor Night Work” and there is another picture of this same man replacing a fuse during a power failure with the same lantern being held up to guide his way. They claim to have had and used their Coleman Floodlight Lantern for eighteen years and have been able to use it for a large number of different functions. It is claimed to be 20 times brighter than ordinary wick-type lanterns and able to flood a 100-foot area with a price in the U.S.A. as low as $9.95. The ad also mentions a Coleman Self-Heating Iron with a price of $5.95.
