Description

Coca Cola Ad October 1960Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad with a photo of a gas station, one of the older kinds where you had to drive in and you never left your seat. A lady is parked there in her red convertible with the top down as the man in his uniform stands next to the car, holding the gas hose and looking in. The lady, though, is paying no attention to the man as she sits there working on a big bottle of Coca-Cola as she smiles at the dog sitting there who is almost the same size as the lady is. The dog sits there staring at the young man who stares back at the dog. The text tells us to “Be really refreshed! Pause for a Coke. Only Coca-Cola gives you the cheerful lift that’s bright and lively…the cold crisp taste that deeply satisfies! No wonder Coke refreshes you best!”
