Description
Full color 9 3/4″ x 13 1/2″ ad for Coca-Cola Soft Drinks. This ad has a drawing showing a soda fountain where three well-dressed ladies are all meeting as they go over their day as they are each sitting and enjoying a glass of Coca-Cola as the boy who is serving them seems to be really enjoying himself. The ad headline refers to this as the “Get-together Club…Admission 5 cents”. The text tells us that “There’s a club dedicated to friendliness, where the latchstring’s always out – the neighborhood fountain. It’s a good place to meet friends for a good chat and a good time. The friendly pause that refreshes with ice-cold Coca-Cola is the keynote of its comradeship. And the admission is only the price of a Coke – 5 cents”. There is an item under this text that seems to clarify one point and it goes like this. “Coke = Coca-Cola. ‘Coca-Cola’ and its abbreviation ‘Coke’ are the registered trademarks which distinguish the product of The Coca-Cola Company“.
