Full color 7 3/4″ x 10 3/4″ ad for the Avon line of cosmetics, especially Lipsticks, with two photos of Claudette Colbert. The one photo has her sitting with a red jacket in a chair listening intently as the headline has her stating “…and I think Avon Lipsticks are sensational!”. The second, smaller photo shows her sitting with Mrs. Nellie Ginthner who is identified as the Avon representative who has called on Claudette. Pictured in the ad are several more of the different products that Avon offered and the text reminds you how nice it is to buy from someone who comes to your house.
