The headline in this ad says that “The only thing a Chrysler hasn’t got is a big price tag”. Huh. The ad text says that “If you’ve been thinking a Chrysler automatically means big money, you’re in for a happy kind of surprise. Four full-size Newport models are now priced just a few dollars a month more that the most popular smaller cars, comparably equipped. Including little ones with big-car names. Which means, with a 383 cu. in. V-8, automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, radio, heater, whitewalls. Chrysler’s small difference in price also includes the biggest brakes in the medium-price field. Not that you know how really easy it is to do – Take Charge. See your Chrysler dealer and move up today”. Below this text there is a picture of a very nice 1967 Chrysler Newport 2-Door sitting there with the message “Test Price A Chrysler.
