Chrysler New Yorker – Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 3/4″ ad for the 1960 Chrysler New Yorker. This ad shows an evening scene with a pale blue Two-Door Chrysler New Yorker parked in front of a few items that could be associated with a circus and a smaller elephant that the man standing by the driver’s door is watching. Probably just to make sure it doesn’t get too interested in his car. The ad headline claims that this is “The Car Of Your Life For The Time Of Your Life!” and then the ad begins by claiming that “You’ll feel like a kid at the circus every time you take a spin in your new Chrysler. Reasons?”. The ad then goes into the many reasons that you will enjoy it; some of which are seats soft as cotton candy, AstraDome, Panelescent, Unibody, Room and Ride.
