Chrysler Ad 1952Chrysler Concept Cars – Black and white 7 1/2″ x 10 3/4″ ad that showed some of the ideas that Chrysler engineers were coming up with to bring the future closer. The headline introduces the “Styling that influences your Chrysler-Built car” and shows three examples of their dreams. The top picture is a Phaeton that is parked in front of a building with a driver setting behind the wheel. This car is a Four-Door vehicle with no top and the caption mentions that a “Tonneau top is concealed”. Pictured below this are two cars designed by Chrysler and handcrafted by Ghia of Turin, Italy. Shown are the K-310 which was only 59″ tall with a wheelbase of 125 1/2″ and was powered by a Chrysler FirePower V8 Engine. The other car was called a C-200 also had a Chrysler FirePower Engine with disc brakes and chrome-plated 17″ wire wheels. The text refers to them as “Idea” cars and discusses how these ideas can result in features that grace future cars.
