Description
Chevy II Station Wagon – Full color 10″ x 13″ ad shows “What happens when you put a V8 in a Chevy II?”. The first picture shows a light-Blue Chevy II filled with a family of three that has stopped on a dusty road so they can inquire of the old man carrying a fish where he had such luck. The next picture shows this car throwing dust as it hurries toward the spot he pointed out and the text claims, in answer to the headline question, that “Your pickup is picked up. Hills don’t seem half so hilly. And even if you’ve got every nook and cranny of cargo space filled, still there’s no holding you back”. The text talks about some of the other changes that Chevrolet made to match the increased engine size and reassures us that the 120-hp six, the 155-hp six and the 90-hp four-cylinder were still available. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
