The Powerglide Automatic Transmission makes driving the car nothing more than placing the indicator into “Drive” and stepping on the gas. Occasionally you will have to steer and avoid objects that won’t move out of your way. It also has Power Steering which is claimed to do up to 80% of the steering in case you do choose to try and avoid objects in the road or on the sidewalk.
