Description
Full color 10″ x 14″ ad that ties Charles Boyer in with Chesterfield cigarettes. The ad shows him sitting there lighting up a Chesterfield cigarette with his right hand as he holds an opened pack of them in his left. The ad claims that “Chesterfield’s Mild Cool Flavor gives me complete smoking satisfaction” was a quote from Charles Boyer and has him starring with Ingrid Bergman in the movie Arch Of Triumph. The bottom third of this ad has a large ABC which they indicate means “Always Buy Chesterfield“. The ad shows another ABC even lower which they claim is for “Always milder”, “Better Tasting” and ‘Cooler Smoking”. The last words in the ad are that they offer “The sum-total of smoking pleasure”.
