Champion Spark Plugs Ad April 1948Three color 7 3/4″ x 11″ ad that shows a drawing of a giant Champion Spark Plug in the air over a gas station and it’s sending a beam of light down from it’s igniter highlighting the gas pumps. In the front of the ad is a little girl, they seemed to be so many of them in ads, walking a dog who is barking and standing up to a sign that says “Install New Champion Spark Plugs. The ad says that you will need “Crisp-firing spark plugs” to keep your car or tractor engines in good operating condition. They say that having new spark plugs is important for “performance, gas and oil economy and dependability”. They say that “It’s Spring again” so it’s time to “Follow the Experts”.
