The ad shows a young girl and young boy, napkins tied around their necks, concentrating on the wishbone that they are competing to get the biggest half of. The headline calls them “Both Lucky” and the text explains that they are both winners because a long time ago their mother “started them off with their Carnation formula and kept right on letting them drink and eat the milk that gave them so fine a start”. The ad continues by talking about what makes Carnation Evaporated Milk so good and ends with a recipe for a Golden Pumpkin Pie before mentioning their 45-page book called Growing Up With Milk which contains information and more recipes.
