Candy Ad November 1946Full color 9 1/2″ x 14″ ad that explains what it means when you have the urge for a candy bar. Inside of a heart-shaped frame is a drawing of two men sitting on logs with their shotguns resting on their knees as they wait for birds that pay no attention to the crinkle of the candy bar wrapper than one man is eating. The headline says that “The ‘Crave for Candy’…is a call for energy” and mentions the many kinds of people that stop during their day for “the fuel of flavor” or the “‘Can Do’ of cheer”. It declares that, “whether it’s box, bar or bagful” you will serve you body by stopping to give yourself energy. It also reminds everyone that “Candy’s Dandy…Keep it Handy”.
