Canada Dry Ad March 1964Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their Club Soda and it’s value as a companion to your Scotch. There is a picture of a narrow glass partially filled with a drink and, behind it, a slightly, out-of-focus bottle of Canada Dry Club Soda. The headline argues that “This Scotch took years to age in sherry casks, was blended with rare skill, then married in oak, bottled, and shipped 3000 miles. Please don’t kill it for a few pennies.” The text describes why this product is better by telling us that it “is made of ‘polished’ water and a balance of 6 minerals, plus perfect pinpoint carbonation.”
