Full color 9 3/4″ x 13 1/2″ ad that is for Campbell’s Vegetable Soup. This ad claims that it is “Perfect for Summer – Soup ‘n Sandwiches” and has a drawing of the Campbell’s Girl hopping over the back of the Campbell’s Guy. It then shows a picture of a lunchtime meal having a hot dog, an apple and a bowl of Campbell’s Vegetable Soup there waiting for you. The ad then tells us that “Good things begin to happen when you have soup as the one hot dish you need with cool summer meals”. It then says that “Soup’s the perfect hot dish to have with cool summer meals. It takes almost no time to fix. Easy, too. Just open a can of Campbell’s and heat. It’s ready to serve in 4 minutes. Team your soup with a favorite sandwich, some fruit and milk if you like. Lunch is ready. Good and ready!”. The ad goes on describing the benefits of having this soup and the fact that you get 15 pick-of-the-garden vegetables when you eat this soup.
