Under a picture of a smiling, happy baby are the instructions “Rx For Happy Feeding in Listless Weather Serve your Baby These Main-Dish Foods – combinations of all the meat, all the vegetables Baby needs”. The text explains that, when the weather is hot, “Baby’s appetite may lag”. It mentions the ingredients that provide the nutrition of these foods and gives four “Hints on Summer Feeding” that mothers may find helpful. At the bottom of the ad are shown five jars of this product; Chicken Baby Soup, Beef Baby Soup, Lamb Baby Soup, Liver Baby Soup and Vegetable Baby Soup.
