Description

Buick Opel Ad November 1968Buick Opel – Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad that shows some activities that can be performed with “The Social Mini-Brute”. There is a picture that shows a White with a Black Top Buick Opel parked in the front with, behind it, there are three ladies painting, or adding paint, to a wall. I assume that there was a painting of a baby elephant drawn there and the three ladies are adding graffiti and plant life to the scene. The ad tells us that “The excitement begins now. With the introduction of the first Mini-Brutes to offer a 3-speed fully automatic transmission. One that lives up to General Motors standards and yours. The excitement increases. With the introduction of the luxurious Opel Kadett Super Deluxe Sport Coupe. With standard equipment that includes wood-grained applique on the instrument panel, antique-grain vinyl, carpeting, front bucket seats, a long list of General Motors’ standard safety equipment, and even an electric clock”.
