Description
Opel Kadett – Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad that calls your attention to many of the niceties that come with the 1966 Buick Opel Kadett, including carpeting in the loading area. There is a picture of this vehicle from the rear with the back door open. A well-dressed lady is standing there with a large foot-locker, an end table and three lit candles waiting to be loaded in as the caption asks you to “Please ignore the carpeting in the loading area. (Or else you may find it impossible to believe this is General Motors’ lowest-priced wagon)”. The text starts by talking about the carpeting, mentioning that it will unsnap so it can be removed in case you want to haul “a load of logs for the fireplace”. It then looks around the rest of the car bringing attention to items of interest and amazement. There is a box in the lower right-hand corner that lists the models available and their East and West coast prices. These models include the Two-Door Sedan, the Deluxe Two-Door, the Deluxe Sport Coupe, the Deluxe Four-Door Sedan and the Deluxe Station Wagon.
