Description
Full color 9 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ ad that is similar to one from two years later. This ad has a drawing of a large chef, looking like Santa Claus dressed in white, standing with his arms spread behind a table filled with foods of every kind, including a dead bird lying there with his head hanging over the end of the table. In this ad the headline encourages you to “Help yourself to good taste” and then says that “Hospitality lives in every heart, but Christmas provides a special occasion to express it. When family and friends get together, Christmas is as flavorful as it is gay. The table laden with plump fowl and delicious dressing, cranberry sauce, succulent vegetables, snowflake potatoes with giblet gravy…and Budweiser. Golden, bubbling, sparkling, foaming…Budweiser! It tells you with every sip why it is something more than beer…a tradition in hospitality” At the lower right there is a drawing of a bottle of Budweiser and a filled glass above the words that claim that It lives with good taste everywhere.
