Description
Full color 10″ x 14″ ad for Wheaties, the Breakfast of Champions. The ad has a drawing of a young boy eating a bowl of Wheaties for breakfast while his well-worn baseball mitt and ball sit on the table next to his bowl. As he pauses with a spoonful of cereal he dreamingly looks up as a life-size picture of Babe Ruth swinging his majestic bat and watching the ball soar fills the background behind him. The text explains why future boxes of Wheaties will have pictures of notable sports stars when it says “Champions get many a small boy to eat a good breakfast”.
