1960 Austins – Black and white 10 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ ad for the variety of models they had available in this year. The headline claims the “Best way in the world to see Europe…in your Austin“ and shows four models with short descriptions and prices. First there is the Austin A-40 which gave 40 mpg and sold for as low as $1346. Next was the magnificent 2 or 4 seat Austin Healey ‘3000’ which sold for as low as $2372. The third car shown was the Austin A-55 which was a 30 mpg family car with a selling price of $1656 and last was the Austin Healey Sprite which was called the “lowest-priced true sports car” with a selling price starting at $1328.
