Description
Full color 10″ x 13 1/2″ ad for the Antique Straight Bourbon Whiskey. In this ad there is a photo of a model ship, identified as the “Red Jacket” which is called the “handsomest of the big clippers and trans-Atlantic record-holder in 1854”. In front of this are a partially filled bottle of Antique Bourbon and a glass filled nearly to the top. The ad headline claims that “It must be authentic to be labeled Antique“. It then says that “There’s art in Antique – a bourbon, carefully natured in well-charred, new oak casks. Nothing less could produce the distinctive character and mellow taste that makes it so superbly authentic. Only the finest bourbon merits the Antique label. Try Antique – acclaimed by experts as a masterpiece of Kentucky straight bourbons”.
