Description
Black and white 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for the Allis-Chalmers B-10 Tractor. The ad has a drawing that shows three ladies sitting around the lawn furniture in the back yard and one of them is sitting on the Allis-Chalmers B-10 Tractor. The other two are looking and asking questions and becoming more familiar with it as the husband is standing quietly with his pipe and a smile, just around the corner. The headline, just under the ladies looking and asking questions, says “…then you push that little thing”. The text continues with “…pull this thingamajig, and away you go”. When George bought the new B-10 tractor, he never thought he would find his wife and the neighbor ladies “ooh-ing” and “ah-ing” over it. Or Junior and his friends either for that matter. It happens all the time. Plain truth is, the B-10 is a lot of fun for the whole family. It’s a real tractor from Allis-Chalmers, the tractor people who make the big ones. George thought his B-10 would be like having a hired hand around the place. He found he got a couple of extra “hands” he didn’t plan on. One thing, they work just for the fun of it. When he’s not using the B-10 himself, that is. And practical? Among other things, you can bulldoze gravel, haul things, even clear snow next winter. In fact, George recommended a B-10 for the plant, too”.
