Description
Black and white 9 3/4″ x 13 1/2″ ad that is for AC Fire-Ring Spark Plugs. This ad says it at the top of the page; “AC and Chevrolet win again!” and the headline then says that “AC sparks Chevrolet to 2 class victories in the 1966 Mobil Economy Run!”. There is a picture of an AC Spark Plug sitting there, threaded side down, very clean and polished. The ad text tells us that “The winning combination of AC Spark Plugs and Chevrolet triumphs once again in the 1966 Mobil Economy Run. Class E for standard 6-cylinder cars was won by a Chevrolet Biscayne averaging 21.04 miles per gallon using regular gasoline. Taking top honors in Class F for low-priced 8-cylinder cars was an Impala with an impressive 19.87 miles per gallon using premium gasoline. The coast-to-coast Mobil Economy Run is an ideal test of AC‘s self-cleaning action. AC Spark Plugs promoted peak power and economy through 3,301 grueling miles of both stop-and-go driving and prolonged turnpike stretches. This kind of winning performance is one reason engineers specify AC‘s for new Chevrolets and all other General Motors cars. AC‘s are best for your car, too. Ask for Self-Cleaning AC Fire-Ring Spark Plugs next time you change”.
