Baby Ruth Candy Ad 1942Full color 4 1/4″ x 12″ ad that gives you another way to enjoy Baby Ruth. For the kids at home and to send to the soldiers overseas they give an easy-to-make recipe for Cookies. A drawing shows a little girl eating one of these cookies and wishing that her mother could make them. A little boy, also eating a cookie, tells her that are so easy to make that she could make them herself. It also shows a smiling soldier receiving a box and the ad calls them “Energy-Food for Victory” and claims that candy is “a first line food for defense against fatigue”.
