Description

Buick Opel Ad February 1967Opel Kadetts – Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad that displays the many models available and talks about the increasing number of people who are owning one, or two. The picture in the ad shows a highway overpass and ramp that is devoid of anything other than a Buck Opel. The headline calls it “Our popularity explosion” and I have to think that these cars are all parked. The text says that “Last year, twice as many people drove home new Opel Kadetts as the year before” and warns that “this year even more people are buying Opels. It reasons that being the lowest priced car that General Motors makes is a part of the reason but then begins to list some of the standard features that are bound to turn the head of anyone looking for a new car. It also reassures the reader that with over 1300 Buick-Opel dealers they will have more places to receive servicing than with any other imported car.
