Black and white 9 1/2″ x 14″ ad for their Monroe-Matic Shock Absorbers. The ad has an action-filled photo of the Indianapolis “500” race with a headline that claims there were “Monroe-Matic shock absorbers on Every car!”. There is a smaller photo of race winner Roger Ward claiming that to win the race “It takes absolute control over the car you’re driving, and Monroe-Matics help provide that control”. He also claims to be using them on his family car. The text claims that “Every year since 1952, the winner of the Indianapolis “500” has driven to victory on Monroe-Matic shock absorbers”. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
