Description

Gulf Oil Ad 1968Full color 7 3/4″ x 10 3/4″ ad for their Gulfpride Formula G Motor Oil. There is a picture of a man at a quiet racetrack standing in his racing suit next to a race car looking at a red Cyclone on the foreground of the picture. The headline warns us that “Anyone who puts his foot into anything over 289 cubes better have more than mouse milk in his crankcase”. Next to a can of this product it assures that “This new oil is a lot more”. The text tries to explain exactly what “mouse milk” actually is before explaining what Gulfpride Formula A Racing Oil is. It tells us what races it has won in its two years of testing and that it is now available at you local Gulf station at reasonable prices.
