Description
1912 – Black and white 6″ x 9 1/2″ ad for this English line of Trucks that is now being made in America. There is a picture of one of the trucks the Wyckoff, Church & Partridge company made being used to haul casks in New York City. The text explains that due to an increased demand, much of it coming from America, the WCO company has opened a plant in Kingston, New York to offset the production from the Luton, England plant. It explains that all quality will be overseen by the Assistant Works Manager of the English company and that, in the seven years of their production, “not one Comer truck has ever worn out”. The ad lists 15 Representatives that could be contacted to purchase one of these trucks.
