Description

Studebaker Truck Ad 1947Studebaker Trucks – Full color 10″ x 13 1/2″ ad for the money-saving extras that you get when you buy a new Studebaker Truck. The ad has a picture of two men loading a large number of milk cans into a Red Studebaker Stake Bed Truck , that is referred to only as a “husky Studebaker truck” in the ad, parked in front of a picturesque farm. The ad headline assures us that “You get more out of everything you put into a money-saving new Studebaker truck” and the ad, mentioning their Hy-mileage and Econ-o-mizer truck engines, suggests that any farm owner who buys one of these trucks to transport their goods might just want to set-up a run where he takes his neighbors goods too. The bottom right corner of the ad has a small picture that shows some of the “extras” that are provided at no extra cost. These include a dome lightadjustable window wingstwo arm rests and adjustable seatsdual sun visorsdual windshield wiperstight-gripping rotary door latches and each roomy cab is protected by Studebaker’s box-girder steel construction. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
