Maxwell Ad 19221922 Maxwell – Black and white 9″ x 12 1/2″ ad for “The Good Maxwell. The ad has a picture that shows a Dark Four Door and a Dark Two Door and the ad attributes “great beauty” to these cars. The ad states that the public is showing “friendly feeling” and “profound admiration” for all cars Maxwell. Listed are models Touring Car for $885, Roadster for $885, Coupe for $1385 and the Sedan for $1485 and the ad lists features which include cord tires, non-skid front and rear; disc steel wheels, demountable at rim and at hub; drum type lamps; Alemite lubrication; motor driven electric horn; unusually long springs; deep, wide, roomy seats; real leather upholstery in open cars, broadcloth in closed cars; open car side curtains open with doors; clutch and brake action, steering and gear shifting, remarkably easy; new type water-tight windshield.
