The largest picture shows a pre-teen girl showing off her new school clothes to a friend of her mother’s. The first line says “What mother doesn’t want to wave her little girl off to school gaily ruffled or skirted or suited in the latest junior fashions”. The ad says that if you can thread a sewing machine, you can do it. All it will take is a few lessons at the Singer Sewing Center. The cost is only $1.50 per lesson or $10.00 for all eight.
