Description
1967 Simca – Black and white 10″ x 13 1/2″ ad that shows a mother and a father, eight kids and a dog standing in their driveway behind two Simca’s, one new and shiny and the other is just a little bit worn. The headline for this ad is that “Some families couldn’t swing two cars if it weren’t for Simca“. The ad says that you could buy a Simca for $1639 per month, or two for $3275. After the price the second point that was most appealing was the 5 year / 50,000 mile warranty. This doesn’t include the fact that both of these cars were 4 doors, not 2 like so many of the cars that had a tolerably low price. The whole things settles down to the bottom headline, “Simca: the tough 5/50 economy car from the Chrysler people”.
