Description
1960 300 – Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for the car that was claimed to give “Great Engineering in Evening Dress”. There is a picture of a Dark Blue Four-Door Mercedes-Benz 300 parked in front of a European building where three men are on the ground and one is waving up to three women on the balcony above. The text talks about this being the most expensive of the models available that year and talks about the decades of evolution that have produced cars of this magnitude. It also mentions this car line was a subsidiary of Studebaker-Packard and gives a price range of between $3,300 to $13,000. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
