1977 Mazda RX-3SP – Full color 7 1/2″ x 10 3/4″ ad has a photo of a Red RX-3SP leaving burning tire marks as it drives away from the camera on an asphalt roadway. The ad headline announces “The New Mazda RX-3SP. (Please don’t tell your mother you’re going to buy one)”. For this car they claim that “The acceleration is rotary engine quick. The handling precise and responsive. The stops are provided by power-assisting front disc brakes”. The ad then mentions more of the special accessories, the price tag ($4240) and the fact that “the world’s most remarkable engine is backed by the world’s longest engine warranty”.
