1972 Audi – Full color 8″ x 10 3/4″ ad that compares features of the Audi to other, more expensive cars. The ad has eight pictures of the same Red Four-Door Audi parked on a section of concrete. The headline calls this “The perfect 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th car” and the text tries to bring clarity into that statement. Features of this Audi are compared favorably with cars like a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, a Ferrari and a Lincoln Continental Mark IV before mentioning that the price for the Audi is only $3,960.
