Description
Full color 9 3/4″ x 13 1/2″ ad that is another in their “longtime” ads for Campbell’s Tomato Soup. This ad has a similar picture to previous ones, with the text at the top of the page saying “To make the best, begin with the best – then cook with extra care” and then having a can of Campbell’s Tomato Soup next to a ripened tomato and a copy of the ad that had appeared in Saturday Evening Post on June 2, 1921. In this ad though, the heading in the ad says that “This ad appeared 45 years ago…”. The text in the ad that you would be expected to read asks “Have you checked the price of Campbell’s Tomato Soup lately?”. The rest of the ad reads, pretty much, like the ad from previous ads.
