Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad that is one for Campbell’s Vegetable Soup. This ad has a picture of two little girls, twins, who are sitting at the table and eating from their bowls of Campbell’s Vegetable Soup, one using her right hand and the other using her left, and they also have sandwiches, fruit and milk waiting there for them. The ad says that “Good things begin to happen when there’s soup for lunch”. The ad then tells us that “There are 15 sun-ripened vegetables in those soup bowls today. Prize Campbell’s vegetables, in good beef and vegetable broth. For that’s Campbell’s Vegetable Soup our twins are enjoying so much. Soup wakes up the appetite. It makes a hot meal out of a cold sandwich lunch. Any one of Campbell’s vegetable-rich soups adds good natural nourishment to a meal that is “vegetable poor”.
