Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad that is for Campbell’s Vegetable Beef Soup. This ad has a very cute picture of a little girl putting a spoonful of her soup into her mouth and the ad headline says that “It’s the only way I know to get vegetables into her…”. It is a very cute picture but, my only concern, is that as full as that bowl is, I am not sure just how many vegetables have gotten into her. The ad continues, “Your story, too? So many mothers find Campbell’s Vegetable Soup a lifesaver (with children who like meat but shy away from vegetables). You can expect those tender pieces of beef to disappear first. But even the hardest-to-tempt youngsters will find those six wholesome garden vegetables wonderfully good to eat, too”.
