Description

Dodge Ad December 1948Dodges – Black and white 10″ x 13 1/2″ ad that tries to get you to make the trip into your local Dodge Dealer. The ad has a picture of a couple that look as though they are going to attend a sporting event of some kind. The man has parked his new Dodge and gotten out while the woman is still sitting in the passenger’s seat. The man is reaching for his wallet as he talks to a young man holding pennants and other items that he looks to be selling. The headline urges you to “Come and Be Thrilled” and the text explains this is an open invitation from your Dodge dealer to “learn first hand the many advantages Dodge gives you today”. The two specific items the ad wants you to experience are the roominess of the interior and the smoothness of the Dodge All-Fluid Drive.
