International Harvester Truck Ad 1964 OctoberInternational Pickups – Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad that talks about some of the “Standard Equipment” features on an International that are “extras” on other trucks. The largest picture in the ad shows a Red International Pickup being aggressively driven through a field as the headline, referring to the items mentioned lower in the ad, says that “All these “extras” are standard equipment when you buy an International Pickup. The pictures with captions giving explanations show: the fuse panel in the glove box, the gas tank being outside and under the body, a zinc-coating on the bodies to prevent corrosion, the tailgates being three inches lower to “save you 1/2 mile of lifting a year”, the crankshafts being 35 lbs heavier and made of special steel to last longer and gauges instead of warning lights to help your engine last.
