The ad headline announces this, “Built And Backed By General Motors” and it shows the front end of a Green Oldsmobile and the complete body of a Red Oldsmobile Sixty 4-Door Touring Sedan. The headline of the ad claims “No Clutch! No Shift!” and there is a picture that shows a lady sitting in the car with an arrow pointing to the steering wheel saying “No Gears To Shift” and another pointing to the floor saying “No Clutch To Press”. You would now be able to “Drive as you never drove before…in an Oldsmobile, the only car in the world that offers Hydra-Matic Drive! Once you set the direction control for “forward”, you’ve set for the biggest thrill of your life. You never have to shift gears, and there isn’t any clutch at all!
