Description
Black and white 9 3/4″ x 13 1/2″ ad that tells us that Racing Champions Use Champion Spark Plugs. This ad has a very good picture of Don Garlits burning his tires as he sits on the track. The ad headline says that “Don Garlits was NHRA Top Eliminator in a Dodge-powered AA fuel dragster sparked by silvery-plated Champions“. The ad tells us that “Champions use Champions! Year after year, the overwhelming majority of race winners choose Champion spark plugs – regardless of make of engine – because Champions deliver maximum performance. Why settle for less in your car>”. To the left there are pictures that show “Jim Hall won the 1964 Road Racing Championship with a Champion-sparked Chevy-Chaparral” and “Jack Bowsher won the ARCA Championship two years in a row with Champion-sparked Fords”.
