Full color 9 3/4″ x 13 3/4″ ad for Campbell’s Soups for Lunch. This ad is a very good one on a day when I am hungry. At the top of this ad is a drawing of a lunchtime plate set with a big bowl of Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup with a Double-Decker Sandwich and a couple pieces of celery and, as the ad headline states A joy to eat…a hearty treat! Soup for Lunch”. Then it says that “In just 4 Minutes it’s on the table! Everybody’s happy when those big bowl of soup come in from the kitchen…Daddy and the children, because it tastes so good…Mother, because it’s so nourishing and easy to prepare. And she has 21 delicious Campbell’s Kinds to choose from – a soup for every menu and every taste. So today…every day…have soup for lunch!“. Then, in the lower left-hand corner of this ad it shows a woman reaching up into her Soup Shelf and picking out a can of soup. The ad says “Pick a Soup and Plan a Meal! You’ll want to keep on your Soup Shelf not only all the family favorites but a choice of the many other delicious Campbell’s Kinds, as a surprise”.
