Description

Ford Station Wagon Ad 1956Ford Station Wagons – Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for the variety of Station Wagons that Ford had available this model year. At the top of the page is a picture of a Two-Tone Blue Ford Parklane parked in front of the grocery store while two men form an assembly line filling the back up with the lady’s purchases. The ad headline says “Why Ford tops the ‘tote-em’ Poll!” and shows examples of the other wagons available. These are shown as a Green 8-Passenger Country Sedan, a Pink Ranch Wagon, a Red Custom Ranch Wagon, a Wood-Trim Country Squire and a Yellow 6-Passenger Country Sedan. The ad talks about these cars having the “Thunderbird styling…Thunderbird ‘GO’…and Lifeguard safety”. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
