Description
Black and white 6 1/4″ x 9 1/2″ ad that is trying to make the best of a bad time. This advertisement, from before the U.S. entered World War II, claims that “Canada at War is still the Greatest Playground in the World. 14 Million Americans say so!”. The ad makes statement like “It is just as easy to return to the United States as it is to enter Canada” and “Your Canadian vacation will do double duty” explaining that money spent in Canada will help them repay the U.S. for war supplies that Canada is buying.
